Meet Our Pastor

Hello, my name is John Westover. I was called to be the pastor of Antiquity Baptist Church on January 2, 2019. I serve alongside my devoted wife, Beth and our son, Lucas. The ministry is not a career, it is a calling to faithfully serve the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe "the Book" (KJV) from cover to cover, and I have never attempted to correct it. I was born again in July of 1997 at the age of 18 after hearing a clear presentation of the gospel from my brother. I knelt at his couch and bowed my head in prayer. I asked the Lord Jesus to save me from the penalty of my sins. At that moment, I experienced the new birth and passed from death to life! Have you done that? If you haven't, then please come and learn more. Jesus said, "Ye must be born again." If you are born once, you will die twice (1. your body and 2. your soul in hell). If you are born twice, then you will only die once. You can get it settled right now. Are you ready? Come and see us!
